Welcome to another edition of She’s Got Drive: This is a REWIND episode. Last Year I posted this and it was one of my most popular episodes. What's been driving me this week!! It's a SGD short. So substitute 2021 for 2020. And when I say 2021 I mean 2022.
This week I talk about - What if August is a time to review where we are in this crazy 2020 so that we can figure out how we are going to take the rest of 2020. It's has been so challenging we feel out of control - so what can we do to get some of that back? And can we also start to get our eye on 2021. So this is my musing and sharing if August is a bridge what might be possible for the rest of the year.

Nikki is an interior designer, a wife, a mother to four sons, and an advocate for
living a life filled with luxury, excitement, and deep joy every day. With over 17 years of interior design experience and a passion for creating spaces that support and improve your overall well-being, She designs homes that makes her clients feel like a better them. Her education formally began at the Art Institute in Albuquerque, NM, and she has been crafting and improving spaces for as far back as she can remember.
Her one-of-a-kind design method focuses on designing unique spaces that are beautiful, functional and restorative - she calls them Sacred Spaces. As a professional member of ASID, IIDA, a certified interior designer and a mentor to others, Nikki is not only passionate about designing, She is also dedicated to the field of interior design.

What were you doing at the age of 7? I know I was not starting a business with my mom. Unlike Gabby who began her entrepreneur journey at 7 years old. Fourteen-year-old Gabby is the CEO of Confidence. At the age of seven, she and her mom Rozalynn invented GaBBY Bows, the first and patented Double-Face Double-Snap Barrette, solving the age-old problem of disappearing hair barrettes.
Her patented barrettes along with her plant-based girls natural hair styling products remove stress from the styling process so moms, dads and girls can cherish precious time together. Gabby has since filled orders to all 50 states in the U.S. and in thirteen countries.
Her story has been featured on The Real, Aspire TV, NPR How I Built This and The Today Show, and in Forbes, Kiplinger Magazine, The Washington Post, and Essence.

Wednesday 30th June marked three years since My Mum passed away. So this episode is a REWIND episode. This is for her, and to her and to all who have lost their mother too soon. An experienced real estate development and investment firm focused on developing distinctive real estate properties primarily in New York City. Dawanna Williams has over 23 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to founding her company in 2003, Ms. Williams worked as a commercial real estate lawyer, spending most of her career at international law firm, Sidley Austin LLP - yes the same as the Obamas! From 1994 to 2003, Ms. Williams represented major developers, international governing authorities, investment banks, institutional lenders, and private equity investors in connection with a wide range of high-profile real estate transactions. During this period, those projects involved millions of spatial square feet and over $1 billion in transaction value.
